Scope

VA Pay Chart is a free, privately operated informational website. It does not currently offer public user accounts, paid plans, or payment processing.

Calculator information

Calculator entries are processed in your browser to produce an estimate. We do not ask for your name, claim number, Social Security number, medical records, or other direct identifiers.

If you use Copy link, the ratings, dependent selection, dates, and other calculator settings needed to reproduce the estimate are placed in the page URL. Anyone who receives that URL can read those settings. URLs may also appear in browser history, hosting logs, analytics systems if later enabled, and any service through which you share the link. Do not add identifying or confidential information to a shared URL.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process ordinary request information such as:

• IP address;
• browser and device type;
• requested page and referring page;
• request date and time; and
• security, error, and performance data.

This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and understand aggregate performance. Retention is limited by operational and legal needs and by the policies of the relevant infrastructure provider.

Cookies and local storage

The site may store limited preferences, such as theme or language, on your device. Public calculator use does not require an advertising profile or a VA account.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal information. Technical information may be processed by infrastructure providers that help host, secure, and operate the site, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

External links

The site links to VA.gov, eCFR, and other third-party sources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Your choices

You can avoid placing calculator settings in a URL by not using the sharing feature. You can clear site preferences through your browser. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to or deletion of personal information associated with you.
